My Client, a market leading Building Services and Sustainability Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in London. This innovative consultancy specialise in electrical and building services designs for varied residential developments, office blocks, student accommodation, leisure, healthcare and hospitality (mixed use developments). You will join a supportive and friendly team based in Central London. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in bringing diverse projects to life, from concept through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality electrical designs across a wide range of sectors.
- Engaging in all stages of the project lifecycle and liaising with multidisciplinary teams.
- Producing technical drawings and calculations for electrical systems and lighting using Dialux, Relux, Amtech and AutoCAD.
- Contributing to sustainable design solutions and low-carbon strategies.
- Supporting site installations and ensuring design compliance.
- Representing the company at project meetings and client interactions suggesting innovative and sustainable solutions for developments.
Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering and experience working for UK based Consultancy completing electrical designs using Dialux, Relux and/or Amtech. You will also be required to have a working knowledge of British/European standards and Building Regulations and BREEAM.
