An established and forward-thinking consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Acoustic Consultant with a strong background in building or architectural acoustics. The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a dynamic team of acousticians working on a wide range of projects across the commercial, residential, education, cultural and mixed-use sectors. The Role

  • Providing technical advice on building acoustics from planning through to completion
  • Conducting environmental and building acoustic assessments
  • Preparing detailed reports and design documentation
  • Undertaking on-site testing and acoustic modelling using tools such as CadnaA or ODEON
  • Working closely with architects, engineers, and developers on innovative project delivery

The Ideal Candidate

  • At least 3 years’ experience in acoustic consultancy (strong graduates will also be considered)
  • A degree in acoustics or a related field
  • Knowledge of key standards and guidelines (BB93, BS8233, BS4142 etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive and collaborative attitude

Progress toward or attainment of Chartered status is a bonus, though not essential.
