Senior Acoustic Consultant
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
A medium-sized environmental consultancy is hiring for their next Senior Acoustic Consultant to join the team in the Milton Keynes region.
Our client works across the UK within a range of sectors including residential, commercial and entertainment industries and has been involved in many exciting acoustic design projects including Europe’s tallest residential building!
Requirements:
Proven experience in acoustic consulting, working for a UK based Consultancy. In-depth knowledge of BB93, BS4142 & BS8233 and other relevant British Standards. Strong project management skills and experience leading complex projects from inception to completion. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to clients and stakeholders. Degree in Acoustics, Sound Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Job Responsibilities:
Conduct noise monitoring, modelling (using software such as CadnaA, ODEON or SoundPLAN), and analysis for various projects, including industrial, commercial, and infrastructure developments. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, ensuring professional development and knowledge sharing within the team. Prepare detailed technical reports and deliver recommendations to clients on noise control strategies and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Benefits:
