Aztrum are proud to be partnering with a growing and innovative architectural practice based in Cambridge. Our client is looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join their team and support the continued success of the studio.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience across a range of projects, working within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities for this Part 1 Architectural Assistant role:
- Support the design and development of projects across early RIBA stages
- Assist in the production of drawings, models, and presentation materials
- Contribute to design ideas and concept development
- Work closely with senior team members to develop technical understanding
- Assist with project administration and general studio support
- Help ensure drawings and documentation are kept up to date
Key Requirements for this Part 1 Architectural Assistant role:
- RIBA Part 1 qualified (or recently completed)
- Some practical experience within a UK architectural practice (preferred)
- Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite is desirable
- Basic understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proactive, eager to learn, and a strong team player
