Principal Engineer (Electrical) Location: Bath – Frequent travel to Bristol Salary: £57,000 – £65,000 A multi-disciplinary consulting firm is looking to hire a passionate and experienced Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will become part of their supportive team, using design to assist the building services sector in becoming more sustainable. Key responsibilities: Create and deliver presentations for clients at principal meetings Produce high quality drawings and specifications Develop and maintain relationships with clients, helping to promote repeat business Act as project lead, working closely with others to achieve a common goal Produce calculations and help more junior members to complete themWhat we’re looking for: A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience of design in building services Competent knowledge of UK/European standards, regulations, best practices etc Professional membership (CIBSE, IET) Working knowledge of BREEAM Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of HTM’s, HV/LV systems Design software experience – Relux/Dialux, Revit, Amtech, Microsoft A degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering – Chartered or working towards Good knowledge of BREEAM and mechanical engineering practices to cover all project workBenefits: Sickness/maternity/paternity pay schemes Opportunity to buy and sell annual leave Professional development opportunities Cycle to work and electric car schemes Working on exciting and challenging projectsInterested?
