Job Role: Part 2 Architectural Assistant Location: Hertfordshire Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 DOE Aztrum is pleased to be partnering with a highly specialised architectural studio located in Hertfordshire, widely recognised for its international portfolio of state-of-the-art data centre developments. With over two decades of experience, this innovative practice stands out for its technical mastery, collaborative culture, and focus on sustainable architecture. As the studio continues to expand its dynamic team of architects and technologists, they are currently looking to appoint a Part 2 Architectural Assistant with a strong eye for design and solid technical grounding to contribute to the successful delivery of complex infrastructure and commercial projects both in the UK and overseas. Key responsibilities for the Part 2 Architectural Assistant: Support the design and delivery process across RIBA work stages on data centre projects. Assist in the development of detailed Revit models and the creation of technical drawing packages and visual presentation materials. Work alongside senior architects to produce planning submissions, construction details, and project review documentation. Collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams to uphold design quality, functionality, and project integrity. Engage actively in a studio environment shaped by creativity, accountability, and high professional standards. Key requirements for the Part 2 Architectural Assistant: RIBA Part 2 qualification or equivalent degree in Architecture. At least 2 years of professional experience within a UK-based architecture or design practice. Experience working on data centres, commercial, or mixed-use residential projects is highly advantageous. Strong Revit proficiency and a solid understanding of BIM-led design processes. Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and competent with visualisation tools such as SketchUp or Rhino. Sound knowledge of UK building regulations and hands-on experience preparing planning and construction documentation.
