Aztrum is delighted to be partnering with a respected and forward-thinking architectural practice based in Sheffield. Renowned for their creative approach and diverse portfolio which spans residential, commercial, community and regeneration projects. My client continues to build on a strong reputation for delivering thoughtful design-led solutions. To support the growth of their busy studio they are now seeking a motivated and talented Part 1 Architectural Assistant to play an active role in the development and delivery of projects across a variety of sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the design and progression of projects at various stages from concept through to technical delivery
- Support the preparation of planning applications and design documentation
- Contribute to drawings, models and visual material that clearly communicate design intent
- Produce annotated technical information and presentation material to support project delivery
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment ensuring deadlines and milestones are achieved
- Engage with clients, consultants and local authorities where required
Key requirements
- RIBA Part 1 qualification or equivalent in architecture
- 12 years professional experience in a UK architectural practice ideally across a range of sectors
- Familiarity with residential or regeneration-led projects is advantageous
- An understanding of UK planning policy and building regulations
- Strong software skills including Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, visualisation and organisational abilities
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach with strong design sensibility and attention to detail
