This is a senior-level opportunity suited to someone with a strong background in building performance and energy modelling, alongside proven team management and leadership experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading projects, managing and developing consultants, and supporting the continued growth of the business.

The Role

  • Lead the delivery of complex building physics and energy modelling projects across multiple sectors
  • Manage project delivery through all stages, ensuring technical excellence and commercial performance
  • Oversee dynamic simulation modelling and building performance analysis using IES VE
  • Deliver TM52, TM54, TM59, Part O, Part L, SBEM, and EPC assessments
  • Produce decarbonisation strategies and support SALIX funding applications
  • Act as a senior technical lead for clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Manage, mentor, and develop junior and senior consultants within the team
  • Support wider business growth and strategic decision-making

The Ideal Candidate

  • Extensive experience within Building Physics / Sustainability Consultancy
  • Advanced capability with IES VE and dynamic simulation modelling
  • Strong technical knowledge across overheating, operational energy, compliance, and performance modelling
  • Previous management or team leadership experience is essential
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects independently
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Degree qualified in Building Services, Sustainability, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
