Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Liverpool – Frequent travel to Manchester Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 A multi-disciplinary consulting and engineering firm is looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will passionate and pro-active, helping the team to achieve the most suitable solutions for clients and the environment. Key responsibilities: Conducting design calculations using manual and computer techniques Ensure designs are up to standard and in line with the project and budgets Liaise with other departments to ensure clients’ requirements are met and the best solutions are selected Producing drawings and specifications Stay up to date with the latest changes to software/technology/standards and regulationsWhat we’re looking for: A relevant degree in either Mechanical Engineering or Building Services A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience of design in building services Working knowledge of BREEAM is beneficial Membership (CIBSE, IET) Knowledge of British and European Building Regulations and Standards, Experience in using Relux/Dialux, Amtech, Revit Benefits: Cycle to work scheme Competitive salary Opportunity to buy and sell annual leave Team building activities Opportunities to work on exciting and challenging projects A supportive work environment, with opportunities for career progression Interested?
