Aztrum Recruitment is working with a well-established and rapidly growing Managed Service Provider that is looking to add an ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to its expanding sales team. This organisation delivers innovative IT solutions to businesses across the UK, specialising in managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, networking, infrastructure, and digital transformation. With a customer-focused approach and partnerships with leading technology vendors, they help organisations improve efficiency, security, and business performance.
The Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities and introducing prospective clients to the company's portfolio of managed IT services. Working closely with experienced Account Managers and technical specialists, you'll identify potential customers, qualify leads, and book meetings that contribute to the company's continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is motivated by targets, enjoys speaking with new people, and is looking to build a long-term career within the IT and managed services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and other prospecting methods.
- Research target organisations and identify key decision-makers.
- Qualify prospects and arrange appointments for the senior sales team.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities.
- Learn and promote the company's managed IT services, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, and infrastructure solutions.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to maximise business opportunities.
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the managed services market.
About You
- Previous experience in an SDR, BDR, Internal Sales, Telesales, or Lead Generation role is desirable.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, resilient, and target-driven mindset.
- Strong commercial awareness with a passion for sales.
- An interest in technology, managed services, or IT solutions.
