Are you a Hydraulic Modeller who has Tuflow and Flood Modeller experience? Would you like to join a supportive team of Engineers, based in London?
Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in flood risk, hydrology or civil engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow. It is also beneficial for applicants to reside in London and have a keen interest in climate change, flood alleviation, flood risk modelling and drainage engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Hydraulic modelling and model build using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
- Flood risk assessments, flood consequence assessments, nutrient neutrality assessments and drainage strategies.
- Flood alleviation schemes.
- Hydrological assessments.
- Natural flood management, wetland management and re-wilding projects.
- Flood risk mapping and flood estimation.
- Support new team members and check technical flood risk/complex hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
- Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities to develop new opportunities and ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.
