My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy with offices based across the UK, is searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join their team in London.
Alternative locations available in Bristol and Birmingham.
This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an innovative team who specialise in flood risk, hydrology, hydraulic modelling and drainage engineering.
You will design flood risk, natural flood management, hydraulic modelling and drainage solutions for both public and private sector clients across the UK.
As a Flood Risk Consultant you will be required to complete varied technical work including;
-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.
-Flood Risk Mapping using Arc GIS.
-Su DS Strategies.
-Drainage, attenuation and Su DS design using infodrainage and causeway flow.
-Hydraulic modelling using flood modeller and Tuflow.
-Design of sustainable drainage solutions for residential, commercial, healthcare, retail and educational projects.
-Natural flood management.
-Client meetings to discuss project progress.
-Support team members when needed.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and drainage design and/or hydraulic modelling using flood modeller.
It is essential for applicants to work autonomously to manage projects, mentor team members and complete technical work.
