My client, a market leading MEP Design Consultancy who specialise in electrical, mechanical and public health design for sustainable builds, are searching for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Scotland. You will work remotely but be required to attend site visits across the Central Belt.

Candidates are required to have a BSc and/or MSc in Electrical or Building Services Engineering and have vast UK based experience completing electrical designs for building services, ideally residential, commercial and industrial developments using Revit, DIAlux or Amtech. It is beneficial for applicants to live locally as you will be required to attend site visits to discuss and review designs and specifications alongside contractors, architects and clients. A valid driving licence will be required to attend sites.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will join a supportive team based across central Scotland to complete sustainable electrical designs for building services for residential, commercial, industrial and retail projects across the region using Revit, Amtech, DIAlux, Relux and AutoCAD. You will also be required to check technical work and complete complex electrical cabling and lighting designs for mixed use developments, hospitals and educational facilities.

You will also be expected to deliver projects to time and budget, meeting Clients expectations and assist with site visits to meet and coordinate between internal and external design teams, clients, architects and contractors to discuss sustainable design concepts.
