A leading and fast-growing technology solutions provider is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join its London-based commercial team. The business delivers a broad portfolio of services including Managed IT Services, Cloud Solutions, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and Professional Services, supporting organisations across London and the wider UK with innovative technology strategies that drive efficiency, security, and growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven sales professional with experience in IT services, managed services, cloud technologies, cyber security, or technology consulting. You will play a key role in driving new business growth, building strategic client relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand service offerings within existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across SME and mid-market organisations throughout London and the UK.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, prospecting, and marketing-generated leads.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to proposal, negotiation, and contract completion.
  • Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, understanding business challenges and aligning technology solutions to their needs.
  • Collaborate with technical consultants and solution architects to create tailored client proposals.
  • Cross-sell and upsell services across managed IT support, cyber security, cloud, infrastructure, and professional services.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and activity reporting via the CRM system.
  • Attend client meetings, networking events, and industry functions across London and the UK.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and gross profit targets.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Business Development, IT Sales, Account Management, or Technology Sales.
  • Demonstrable success in generating new business and delivering against sales targets.
  • Experience selling managed services, cloud solutions, cyber security services, IT infrastructure, or technology consultancy services.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and commercial acumen.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently within a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites when required.
Desirable Experience
  • Previous experience within an MSP, IT reseller, technology consultancy, or cyber security provider.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies, cyber security solutions, networking, backup and disaster recovery, or infrastructure services.
  • Experience working with SME and mid-market organisations.
