We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and rapidly growing IT solutions provider with offices across the UK. For almost two decades, they have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality managed IT services, infrastructure solutions, cyber security, cloud technologies, professional services, procurement, and ongoing technical support to organisations of all sizes across both the private and public sectors.
Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Account Manager to manage and develop an established portfolio of clients while identifying new opportunities to grow existing accounts and maximise revenue.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Account Manager with experience within the Managed Services (MSP) or wider IT solutions sector. As a trusted advisor, you will build long-term customer relationships, gaining a thorough understanding of each client's business and technology objectives. Working closely with internal technical and professional services teams, you will recommend tailored solutions across managed services, cloud, cyber security, infrastructure, storage, software licensing, networking, and IT support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established portfolio of business clients.
- Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell the company's extensive portfolio of IT solutions and services.
- Conduct regular account reviews, ensuring customers continue to receive maximum value from their technology investments.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, technical consultants and project delivery teams to deliver tailored IT solutions.
- Generate quotations, manage sales opportunities and support customers through the full sales lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and account information using the CRM system.
- Contribute to overall business growth by developing strategic account plans and identifying new opportunities.
About You
- Previous experience in an Account Management or Senior Account Management role within Managed IT Services, an MSP, or the IT solutions sector.
- Strong understanding of managed services, cloud solutions, cyber security, infrastructure, hardware, software licensing, or professional IT services.
- A consultative sales approach with the ability to understand business challenges and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
- Proven success in growing customer accounts and delivering against revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively.
- Self-motivated, commercially driven and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
