We’re working with a well-established engineering consultancy in Leeds who are looking to add a Structural Engineer to their growing team. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive, technically strong practice with a varied project portfolio across the UK.
The Role
As a Structural Engineer, you’ll be involved in the design and delivery of a range of building structures, working closely with senior engineers, technicians, and clients. Projects span residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Structural design using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
- Producing calculations and technical reports
- Supporting project delivery from concept through to construction
- Liaising with architects, contractors, and other consultants
- Ensuring designs comply with current UK standards and regulations
About You
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 3+ years’ UK consultancy experience (flexible for the right candidate)
- Working knowledge of Eurocodes and UK building regulations
- Experience with design software such as Tekla, TEDDS, Robot, or similar
- Progress toward Chartership (ICE or IStructE) is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
