My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy with offices based across the North of England, is searching for a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their team in Leeds. You will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis. This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an innovative team who specialise in civil and structural engineering for both public and private sector clients. With a wide portfolio of projects you will have the chance to design flood risk and drainage solutions for Residential, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare, Leisure, Renewable and Education Sectors for both public and private sector clients.
As a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer you will be required to complete varied technical work including:
- Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1, 2 and 3.
- Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
- Drainage, attenuation, and SuDS design using infodrainage and causeway flow.
- Design of sustainable drainage solutions for residential, commercial, healthcare, retail and educational projects.
- Client meetings to discuss project progress.
- Support team members with designs.
This role offers a competitive salary, friendly team, substantial benefits package, company benefits and career progression. You will be required to work from the office 3 days a week. Alternative office bases are available in York.
It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and design using infodrainage or causeway or AutoCAD. It is essential for applicants to reside locally, near to Leeds, as you will be required to work from the office, 3 days a week.
