A well-established international engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join its growing Mechanical and Electrical team. The organisation delivers complex infrastructure projects across specialist sectors, including ports, harbours, and container terminals, supporting clients throughout the UK and internationally.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of electrical infrastructure design projects throughout the full project lifecycle. Responsibilities will include the preparation and review of feasibility studies, detailed designs, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation, while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Candidate Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, including LV and HV distribution networks, utility interfaces, and resilience strategies.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard software packages such as Amtech/Trimble, ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD, and Revit.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams and manage responsibilities across multiple project phases.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
