Junior Acoustic Consultant Location: London, UK Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 About Our client is a leading Environmental Consultancy who offer a variety of technical and advisory services on an international scale.  As a Junior Acoustic Consultant, you’ll have the chance to work alongside industry experts not only in Acoustics but in EIAs, Ecology, Sustainability, environmental modelling, marine & biodiversity sectors!  You’ll be working on local projects across the UK, but may also end up working with teams in the Middle East, Africa & Asia – this will include developments within the energy, transport, industrial, residential, government & commercial sectors. This role will see the successful candidate working in a varied and dynamic role with exposure to domestic and international consultancy projects! Requirements Our client is looking for an Acoustic Consultant with the following: Demonstrable experience working as an Acoustic Consultant or Acoustic Technician for a UK based consultancy – this could even be a University Placement! Educated to degree level in Acoustics, Sound Engineering, Physics, Maths or another relevant qualification such as the IOA Diploma. Strong knowledge of noise regulations & standards alongside practical experience in environmental noise modelling and report writing.  A full UK driving licence. Duties Daily duties will include: Acoustic modelling using CadnaA and SoundPLAN. Site visits to undertake environmental noise surveys. Technical report writing.  Noise monitoring. Liaising with clients and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of projects!Benefits Competitive salary and package.
