A specialist Environmental Consultancy, based in the heart of Shrewsbury, is searching for a Hydrogeologist for their team in London. This is a hybrid role offering varied projects, training and career development!

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in hydrology, environmental engineering or hydrogeology and experience working for a UK based Consultancy as a Hydrogeologist completing:

  • Hydrogeological risk assessments
  • Water resource assessments
  • Groundwater modelling using Aquator

Overseas experience will also be considered, if you currently reside in the UK. Candidates are required to have a keen interest in hydrogeology and water resources and a passion for innovation and data analysis.

You will also be required to have excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients to discuss project progress, complete fee proposals and develop new business opportunities.

As a Hydrogeologist you will join an experienced team to complete varied hydrological, groundwater, flood risk and water resources projects for infrastructure, renewable energy, development and quarries across the UK. You will manage projects and review, amend and complete:

  • Hydrogeological risk assessments
  • Groundwater flow analysis and quantitative assessments
  • Water resource assessments
  • Groundwater monitoring using company data sensing equipment
  • Data analysis of monitoring data
  • Groundwater modelling
