Aztrum is currently partnering with a forward-thinking architectural practice that has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality design and consultancy services across the Residential and Commercial sectors. They are looking to welcome an experienced Architect who combines strong creative vision with robust technical understanding and who is passionate about producing practical, sustainable and well-considered design solutions. This is a key position within the team offering the opportunity to take design ownership across a variety of exciting projects.
The role of an Architect:
- Working closely with fellow architects, consultants and project teams to develop cohesive and innovative design solutions.
- Producing concept designs, detailed drawings and comprehensive project documentation.
- Advising on materials, spatial planning and design approaches throughout all project stages.
- Carrying out site visits and liaising with contractors to ensure work is delivered in line with the design intent and relevant regulations.
Key Requirements of an Architect:
- Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills are essential; BIM experience is highly advantageous.
- Solid understanding of UK planning policy, building regulations and contemporary construction methods.
- A proactive design-led mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator able to articulate design concepts clearly to clients, consultants and colleagues.
