One of the largest housing associations in the Midlands is looking to hire an exceptional Head of Sustainability (Energy and Assets) to lead the transformation of their existing portfolio. If you are passionate about making homes greener, more affordable and future proof, please apply below.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of energy and asset sustainability strategies, including retrofit, energy efficiency and decarbonization programmes
- Drive compliance with environmental standards and funding requirements
- Monitor and report on environmental performance, carbon savings and energy use
- Oversee the integration of sustainable technologies and practices across asset management, repairs and investment initiatives
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in developing and delivering retrofit programmes
- Understanding of PAS2035/2030, EPCs and energy efficiency technologies
- Familiarity with heat network systems and regulations
- Senior leadership experience with deep technical knowledge of sustainability, energy and asset management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
