The Role As a Senior Fire Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and managing fire engineering projects, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the successful delivery of our services. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement fire safety strategies that meet regulatory standards and client expectations.
- Lead fire engineering projects from inception to completion
- Develop fire safety strategies, fire risk assessments, and fire modelling
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team
- Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with UK fire safety regulations and codes
- Conduct fire safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Mentor and support junior fire engineers
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3/4 years of experience in fire engineering
- A degree in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety, or a related discipline
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it
- Proven experience in leading fire engineering projects
- In-depth knowledge of UK fire safety regulations, codes, and standards
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Proficiency in fire/smoke modelling
