Are you an Energy Assessor based in the UK who would like to work remotely for a market leading Consultancy who specialise in building compliance testing and energy assessment? This exciting role offers remote working and varied mixed-use new build development projects for a variety of clients across the UK. You will specialise in OCDEA and SAP assessments.
Candidates are required to have a strong academic background, ideally in Sustainability or Building Services, and experience working for a UK based Consultancy as an Energy Assessor. You are required to hold a recognised OCDEA qualification including a Level 3, 4 or 5 Diploma in experience completing SAP assessments. It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing overheating assessments.
As an Energy Assessor, you will join a friendly team based across the UK. Although you will work remotely, you will work with the team to complete SAP Assessments for domestic properties. You will meet up for team socials throughout the year and have the chance to work with a friendly team.
As an Energy Assessor you will complete:
- OCDEAs
- Energy Performance Certificate (EPCs)
- Energy Modelling and statements, using the approved SBEM software to calculate predicted CO₂ emissions and assess the building’s compliance with Part L requirements
- Overheating Assessments
- SAP Assessments
- Providing feedback and recommendations to clients to optimise energy performance and compliance, prior to construction
