Energy Assessor (OCDEA) Location: Cambridge (Remote) Salary: £27,000 - £34,000 A fast-growing firm, specialising in Planning and Building Regulation Services, is seeking to hire an accredited OCDEA to join their team. Within this role you will be responsible for producing EPCs and SAP calculations for new-build domestic properties across England and Wales. Key responsibilities: Conduct SAP assessments in line with Building Regulations (Part L) Be able to provide effective recommendations to improve energy efficiency and ensure regulations are met Communicate with clients in order to develop project knowledge and provide compliance advice Produce accurate EPCs for new buildings/conversions Ensure you keep up to date with relevant regulations/software/best practicesWhat we’re looking for: An OCDEA certification (Elmhurst, Stroma etc.) Experience in conducting SAP calculations and producing EPC’s Excellent knowledge of Building Regulations Part L – Knowledge of Part O assessments desirable Proficient in SAP software Strong written and verbal communication skills Benefits: Bonus scheme (dependent on performance) 28 days annual leave – including bank holidays Flexible working arrangements (office based/hybrid/remote) Opportunities for professional training and developmentInterested?
