A leading multi-national environmental & engineering consultancy is seeking a highly motivated Acoustic Consultant to join their expanding team in Edinburgh on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality technical work, visit sites across the UK to undertake noise surveys and contribute to acoustic modelling duties using CadnaA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Undertake site visits across Scotland & England (when required) to complete noise surveys.
  • Conduct noise monitoring, modelling (using software such as CadnaA), for various projects, including industrial, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and deliver recommendations to clients on noise control strategies and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in Acoustic Consultancy.
  • A degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in environmental acoustics.
  • Expertise in using acoustic modelling software such as CadnaA, or similar.
  • A full UK driving licence, as travel to client sites will be required.
