Aztrum Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading design practice recognised for delivering thoughtful, design-led interiors across the Healthcare sector. Our client is currently looking for a Junior / Graduate Interior Designer who is design driven, with an excellent portfolio and the ability to articulate design ideas clearly, whilst supporting the development and delivery of drawing packages and interior concepts.

Key Responsibilities for this Interior Designer role:
  • Collaborate with senior designers and clients to understand project requirements, design intent, and overall vision.
  • Assist in the creation of floor plans, sketches, mood boards, and 3D visuals to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Support the sourcing and selection of materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting in line with the project brief and budget.
  • Assist in preparing drawing packages, technical drawings, and presentations with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to support the smooth delivery of projects.
  • Conduct research into materials, products, and design trends to inform project development.
Requirements for this Interior Designer role:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of professional experience in interior design (internships, placements, or freelance work considered).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or other visualisation software is advantageous.
  • Design driven with an excellent portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical understanding, and design thinking.
  • Ability to articulate design ideas clearly through drawings, presentations, and verbal communication.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple tasks.
  • A keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for interior design.
