What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting senior consultants on a diverse range of acoustics and noise‑related projects, with responsibilities including:
- Assisting in the planning, execution, and reporting of noise and vibration assessments
- Undertaking on‑site noise surveys and monitoring
- Data analysis and interpretation using industry‑standard tools
- Supporting environmental impact assessments (EIA) and planning applications
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and project teams
- Keeping up to date with current standards and best practices in acoustics
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience on nationally significant infrastructure and development projects, as well as smaller‑scale local schemes.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years’ experience working as a Graduate Acoustic Consultant within a UK consultancy.
- A degree in Acoustical Engineering, Physics, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related subject (ideally with an acoustics component).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence (or working towards it) is desirable due to occasional travel.
