The Role
As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will be involved in all stages of project delivery, gaining valuable exposure to structural design, analysis and site-based engineering activities. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the design of steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures
- Producing structural calculations and technical reports
- Supporting the preparation of engineering drawings and BIM models
- Undertaking site visits, surveys and inspections
- Working closely with senior engineers, architects and contractors
- Assisting with project coordination and delivery
- Developing your technical knowledge through structured mentoring and training
- Working towards professional chartership
The Candidate
We are interested in speaking with candidates who possess:
- A degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline (BEng/MEng)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- An interest in building structures and engineering design
- Knowledge of structural analysis software would be advantageous
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit or BIM technologies would be beneficial
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
