The Opportunity
Aztrum is working with a rapidly growing UK technology services provider that helps SMEs unlock the full potential of their business through bespoke digital solutions. This is a senior, high-impact role for an experienced Account Director who enjoys combining strategic account leadership with new business growth. The business has built a strong reputation for client retention, long-term partnerships and trusted-advisor relationships, underpinned by a collaborative culture and a clear growth strategy. With multiple UK offices and continued investment across Cloud, Cyber, Data & AI, CRM and ERP, this is an ideal time to join.
The Role
This is a dual-focus commercial role, responsible for:
- Leading and growing a portfolio of large, strategic client accounts
- Delivering new business revenue through proactive acquisition and pipeline development
You’ll work closely with senior commercial leadership and cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth, strong client retention and net-new logo wins, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders while maintaining a hands-on approach to sales execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Leadership
- Own and develop account strategies for key, high-value clients
- Drive retention, cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
- Proactively win new customers aligned to defined regions or verticals
- Build and execute structured outbound prospecting plans
- Qualify and convert inbound leads efficiently
- Develop referral partnerships and regional networks
- Consistently exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
- Run end-to-end sales cycles from discovery to close
- Deliver outcome-led, consultative sales conversations
- Collaborate with presales, solution architects and delivery teams
What They’re Looking For
- Experience selling Cloud, Managed IT, Cyber Security, Data & AI, CRM or ERP
- Proven success growing strategic accounts and winning new business
- Strong consultative sales approach with senior-level stakeholders
- Highly organised, self-driven and commercially astute
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
