A growing, planning-led multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Transport Planner or Senior Transport Planner to join its established Transport & Infrastructure team in Bristol. The team delivers transport planning, traffic engineering, and infrastructure design services to support development proposals across the UK, working with both public and private sector clients. This opportunity would suit a motivated transport professional with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The role offers exposure to a wide range of developments, responsibility early on, and the chance to work closely with experienced professionals in a supportive, collaborative environment.
The Role
- Contribute to transport planning and transport assessment workstreams
- Prepare technical reports including Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
- Support project delivery across multiple schemes while managing day-to-day priorities
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Collaborate with colleagues across a wider multidisciplinary team
Candidate Profile
- Degree qualified in a relevant subject (or equivalent experience)
- Typically, 2+ years’ experience in a transport planning role (flexible depending on level)
- Working knowledge of industry-standard tools including ARCADY, PICADY, TRICS, AutoCAD and Excel
- Strong written, verbal and technical communication skills
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a desire to contribute to a growing consultancy
