A leading design-led town planning consultancy is growing its Bristol team and is seeking an experienced, confident Town Planner to support its ongoing expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary studio where planning plays a central role in shaping projects from concept through to consent. Working closely with architects and designers, you will help steer schemes through the planning process, ensuring high-quality and commercially successful outcomes.
The Role
This position is well suited to a planner with experience in private consultancy, though applicants from a public sector background are also encouraged to apply. You will have exposure to strategic land and major planning applications and will be RTPI Chartered, or actively working towards Chartership. A collaborative approach and strong communication skills are essential.
In addition to project delivery, the role offers involvement in business development, client engagement and networking. Senior planners are encouraged to contribute to raising the profile of the practice, including through professional platforms such as LinkedIn, and to play a role in shaping the wider strategic direction of the business.
