We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing and highly respected Managed Service Provider that delivers tailored IT solutions to businesses across the UK. With expertise spanning managed IT support, cyber security, cloud services, and infrastructure, they have built a strong reputation for exceptional customer service and long-term client partnerships.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Account Manager to join their Brighton team and take ownership of an established client portfolio. There is no requirement to bring existing accounts or contacts, as you’ll inherit a warm client base and focus on strengthening relationships, driving account growth, and identifying new business opportunities.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Account Manager who enjoys building strong client relationships while uncovering opportunities to expand existing accounts. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their business needs, ensuring they receive maximum value from a broad portfolio of managed IT, cloud, cyber security, and infrastructure solutions. Partnering with internal technical teams, you’ll act as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate their technology requirements and supporting their long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships across an existing portfolio of client accounts
- Identify and convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities across managed IT, cloud, cyber security, and infrastructure solutions
- Conduct regular account reviews to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering an outstanding customer experience
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to provide tailored technology solutions
- Support company growth through proactive account development and new business generation
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in Account Management within an MSP, IT services, or technology environment
- Strong understanding of managed IT services, cloud technologies, and cyber security solutions
- Commercially minded with the ability to identify and develop revenue opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts strategically and effectively
