Are you a Hydraulic Modeller who has Tuflow and Flood Modeller experience? Would you like to join a growing team of specialists and work remotely or from an office in Leeds?
Candidates are required to have a strong academic background and experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow. It is also beneficial for applicants to reside in the UK and have a keen interest in climate change, flood risk modelling and drainage engineering.
You will join an expanding team who specialise in delivering flood risk and modelling solutions for Consultancies, Water Companies, Private Sector Clients and Holiday Parks. You will specialise in flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and hydraulic modelling using Tuflow and Flood Modeller.
You will also be involved in the following;
- Hydraulic modelling and model build using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
- Flood risk assessments, flood consequence assessments, nutrient neutrality assessments and de-salinisation strategies.
- Hydrological assessments.
- Natural flood management, wetland management and re-wilding projects.
- Flood risk mapping and estimation.
- Support new team members and check technical flood risk/complex hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
- Frequent liaison with Consultancies, Holiday Park Developers, Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities to develop new opportunities and ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.
