Due to continued expansion, they are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities across the Midlands.
The RoleAs a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and winning new business opportunities with SMEs and mid-market organisations. You will introduce a broad portfolio of managed IT, cloud and cyber security solutions, working closely with technical specialists to deliver tailored proposals that solve real business challenges. Key Responsibilities- Generate and develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking and referrals.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers including Managing Directors, IT Managers and Business Owners.
- Identify customer challenges and present tailored managed IT, cloud and cyber security solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to negotiation and close.
- Work collaboratively with technical and pre-sales teams to produce winning proposals.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets.
- Represent the business at networking events and customer meetings.
- Previous experience in a Business Development Manager, New Business Sales or IT Sales role.
- Experience selling Managed IT Services, Cloud, Microsoft Solutions, Cyber Security or other B2B technology solutions.
- Strong new business development and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Full UK driving licence.
