A growing Building Services Engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Junior/Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join its remote team and support an expanding portfolio of commercial, residential, education, and mixed-use projects across the UK. This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious engineer looking to further develop their technical expertise within a supportive and collaborative consultancy environment. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers on a wide range of projects, gaining valuable exposure to electrical building services design, sustainable engineering solutions, and full project delivery from concept through to completion.

The Role:

  • Assist in the design and delivery of electrical building services systems including lighting, small power, fire alarms, data, and security systems
  • Produce technical drawings, calculations, and specifications with support from senior engineers
  • Contribute to projects across all RIBA stages
  • Use industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, and Dialux where applicable
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions
  • Attend client and project meetings remotely
  • Support site surveys, inspections, and technical reporting when required

The Candidate:

  • Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • Previous consultancy or building services experience preferred
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and electrical design principles
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit would be advantageous
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Motivated, proactive, and keen to progress within a consultancy environment
