My Client, a market leading Flood Risk and Flood Resilience Consultancy, based across the UK, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Engineer to join their team in Bedford.
Alternative offices available in Newcastle and Birmingham.
Candidates are required to have a BSc/BEng in Civil or Environmental Engineering and a keen interest in flood risk, drainage and flood defence schemes.
A driving licence is also required for this role, due to site visits across the region.
This exciting role will offer you the chance to join a team of Flood Risk Engineers based in Bedford.
You will complete flood risk, flood defence, flood resilience and property flood resilience surveys across the region.
- You will be required to complete;
- Flood Risk Assessments
- Property Flood Resilience Surveys
- Asset Surveys
Asset Management of river structures and flood defence schemes.
Site visits across the Midlands.
Detailed design of flood defence schemes and river structures.
Drainage strategies.
Detailed design of Su DS and Coastal Structures.
Flood mitigation schemes and design including rock armour and flood walls, embankments and flood gates.
This role will offer full training and support from the experienced team.
You will be expected to work from the office on a hybrid basis.
You can also be based in Newcastle or Birmingham.
