We’re currently working with a leading independent consultancy with a strong presence across the UK, who are looking to expand their team with an Acoustic Consultant based around the South West or London region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected team working across a diverse range of projects including environmental, building, and industrial acoustics. This business is known for its commitment to technical excellence, sustainable design, and client-focused solutions. They’ve built a reputation for delivering high-quality acoustic consultancy on landmark projects, and their collaborative, multidisciplinary approach ensures no two days are the same.
The Role:
- You’ll be part of a growing team with the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of acoustic consultancy—from environmental noise assessments and planning support to building acoustics design and onsite testing.
- The position offers flexibility to work across either the London or South West (Bristol) regions with hybrid working set-ups.
Ideal Candidate:
- Degree qualified in Acoustics, Sound Engineering, or related discipline (IOA Diploma also considered)
- 4+ years' experience in consultancy (though strong candidates outside this range are also encouraged to apply)
- Experience in building acoustics - candidates with environmental acoustics backgrounds can also be considered.
- Skilled in acoustic modelling (e.g., CadnaA, Odeon, SoundPLAN)
- Full UK driving licence preferred due to site travel
