We are delighted to be working with a dynamic forward-thinking practice delivering innovative architectural solutions across residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors. My client is seeking an experienced Associate Director to manage two large-scale residential projects across different phases of delivery, offering the opportunity to lead high-profile schemes within a supportive and design-led environment.
Responsibilities for this Associate / Associate Director role:
- Lead and manage the delivery of a large residential project across two phases (approximately 700 units) covering RIBA Stages 4-6. One phase is a high-profile 30-storey residential tower currently entering early Stage 4. The second phase is at Stage 4/5 and comprises three separate buildings, two of which are on site (frame complete, façade underway).
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships acting as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide leadership and direction to the project team, mentoring junior staff and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Be hands-on with drawings and technical work when required to ensure quality and practicality of design solutions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to the required quality standards.
Essential Skills and Experience for this Associate / Associate Director role:
- 10 years experience in UK residential architecture, particularly high-rise and multi-occupancy buildings.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and package delivery.
- Strong practical delivery-focused skill set.
- Excellent team leadership and client management skills.
- Proficiency in Revit; other design software skills are a plus.
