Renowned for delivering thoughtful, sustainable and technically robust design solutions, the practice works across a range of sectors, offering employees the opportunity to gain exposure to projects from concept through to completion.
They are now looking to welcome a motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant who is eager to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced Architects and gain hands-on project experience across all RIBA stages.
Key Responsibilities for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:- Support the design and delivery of projects across all RIBA work stages
- Produce accurate technical drawings and presentation material using AutoCAD
- Assist with planning applications, Building Regulations submissions and technical documentation
- Prepare presentation drawings, reports and design information for client meetings
- Work closely with Architects, Technologists and consultants throughout project delivery
- Attend design team meetings, client meetings and site visits
- Assist with coordinating project information and maintaining drawing packages
- Contribute to the development of creative, practical and technically sound design solutions
- RIBA Part 2 qualified
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
- Excellent design, technical drawing and presentation skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Previous experience within a UK architectural practice is highly desirable
