About the role:

Reports to Resourcing Manager

The purpose of this position is to provide recruitment support across the Aztec Group with an emphasis on direct marketing, reducing recruitment costs, screening candidates, and supporting the business to obtain the right candidates to meet the business values and long-term needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of vacancies primarily across the Group and be responsible for the end to end recruitment of vacancies from understanding the requirements, loading the vacancy onto our recruitment system, screening CV’s, arranging interviews, developing offers and liaising with our inhouse operations team.
  • Build strong business relationships with hiring managers and leaders and be a trusted advisor.
  • Source talent on LinkedIn using the Recruiter license.
  • Act as the point of contact with external recruitment specialists, ensuring positive relations are fostered with approved preferred agents.
  • Provide an efficient and effective service to the Group to ensure its recruitment processes are robust and fit for purpose; ensuring all recruitment policies, procedures and approved Group standards are followed.
  • Work alongside the Marketing team to ensure website and social media recruitment advertising is regularly updated according to business needs and to assist in organising and attending any relevant careers fairs or recruitment events.
  • Lead on internal recruitment incentives to attract awareness to recruitment incentive schemes within the business.
  • Act as the HR representative in recruitment interviews, when necessary, ensuring all local employment laws and best practice are followed throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist managers with the maintenance and development of job descriptions for all roles within the Group, preparing advertisements, screening applications and shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates.
  • Liaise with relevant external parties on various Licences, Work Permits and Visas according to business and candidate needs.
  • Contribute to the Group's communication processes in order to develop and maintain effective employee relations in the Group.
  • Assist in the implementation of effective recruitment strategies, policies and practices that support the achievement of the Group's business objectives.
  • Keep up to date with relevant employment laws, legislation and best practice in all relevant jurisdictions for the Group and ensure any changes are shared with the HR team.
  • To ensure data accuracy within the applicant tracking system and monitor and produce statistical data to ensure the trends are reported.

Skills, knowledge, expertise:

  • Previous practical recruitment experience within a financial services business or agency.
  • Strong understanding of local employment legislation would be preferable as well as an appreciation of the standards that are expected within a regulated environment.
  • Strong internal and external communication and interpersonal skills, together with the proven ability to develop good working relationships within the business and with other service providers.
  • A positive and proactive approach to recruitment management.
  • Awareness of industry best practice on recruitment and of developments in all jurisdictions in which the Group operates to ensure effective levels of application.
  • Sound numeracy skills, data entry skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good market knowledge combined with LinkedIn recruiter experience.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new information, processes and procedures.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and identify and deal with problems.
