About The Role
As a Senior Associate (Band 2), you will be responsible for developing your expertise, building meaningful relationships and taking ownership for outcomes.
This will be achieved through growing subject matter expertise, contributing to process improvements and offering insights based on experience.
You will be open-minded and embrace change whilst valuing diverse perspectives and channelling a 'can-do' attitude.
You will support business and people growth, contributing towards team initiatives and mentoring newer team members, to enable Aztec's future ambitions.
- Complete all aspects of accounting matters for a portfolio of fund structures, including the accurate preparation of equalisation and carry calculations
- Interpret and apply more complex LPA (Limited Partnership Agreement) requirements to accounting processes
- Provide assistance with completion of more complex audit queries
- Take an increasing lead in regular client calls and correspondence
- Undertake soft reviews of the work produced by more junior team members
- Ensure Aztec internal control frameworks are followed in full
- Maintain accurate records on internal systems and Microsoft Excel, working paper schedules for all aspects of accounting
- Deal with the preparation and reconciliation of periodic direct and indirect tax returns to the extent relevant
- Act as a mentor to junior staff under the supervision of senior staff
- Support with and/or complete fund administration processes as required.
