The Reporting and Data Specialist will play a central role in the development, enhancement, and operational support of eFront Invest reporting solutions across the group. This role focuses on building and maintaining SAS and SQL‑driven report outputs, supporting structured data integrations, and ensuring high‑quality, well‑governed data flows used across client reporting, regulatory submissions, and internal analytics. You will collaborate closely with the wider Markets Technology team, Operational support, Client-facing teams, and integration specialists to ensure reports, data pipelines, and downstream data processors receive accurate, validated, and timely information. With growing demand for scalable and automated data integrations, experience with structured data flows, CSV/XML outputs, and integration platforms is highly valuable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and enhance eFront Invest reporting solutions using SAS and SQL for financial reporting, investor reporting, regulatory outputs, and internal analysis.
  • Develop structured output formats such as XML, CSV, or flat-file extracts for downstream systems.
  • Translate reporting requirements into SAS/SQL logic and reusable code modules, ensuring scalability and consistency.
  • Support and enhance data feeds between eFront Invest, data warehouses, and external systems.
  • Troubleshoot data-flow issues related to ETL orchestration, transformation rules, and scheduling.
  • Monitor and manage integrations using platforms such as MuleSoft, SSIS, and internal automation tooling.
  • Maintain data lineage, mapping documentation, and transformation logic.
  • Resolve reporting errors, identify data inconsistencies, and workflow issues in line with SLAs.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis and implement remediation steps to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain documentation, test evidence, and approvals aligned to change management, audit, and ISAE 3402 standards.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual steps and improve end‑to‑end reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with financial reporting, fund accounting, and technology teams to streamline reporting cycles.
  • Provide day‑to‑day user support and contribute to internal knowledge‑base material.
  • Proactively escalate systemic issues and recommend process improvements.

Required

  • 3–5 years’ experience in reporting, data engineering, structured data flow engineering or financial systems support, ideally within fund administration or financial reporting.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAS and SQL, including data transformation, validation logic, and optimisation.
  • Knowledge of private‑markets platforms is essential, preferably eFront Invest.
  • Solid understanding of fund structures and financial statement components.
  • Strong Excel and data‑validation skills, with a focus on accuracy and data quality.
  • Clear communicator, capable of supporting users and working effectively with Operational Support, Client-Facing, and Onboarding teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data/Computer Science, Finance or related fields.

Desirable

  • Experience with DevOps Boards, Agile development workflows, and managing work through sprints.
  • Familiarity with GIT repositories for version control and collaborative development.
  • Experience producing structured data outputs such as CSV or XML.
  • Exposure to integration tools such as MuleSoft, SSIS, Alteryx, or other ETL/orchestration platforms.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting automation or private‑markets data flows.
  • Awareness of different development methodologies, with a strong preference for Agile as the strategic direction.
