We are looking for a QA/QC Manager to oversee quality assurance across our microbial product portfolio. You’ll play a central role in developing and managing quality systems while leading a small, high-performing team. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to make a meaningful difference.
You’ll report to the Operations Manager and work closely with Regulatory and Product Development teams. This role will be split between our sites in York and Redcar, with roughly 50% of your time at each location. Join us and help shape the future of sustainable agriculture.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage quality systems for our microbial products
- Lead and support a small QA/QC team in routine testing and operations
- Oversee raw material quality and liaise with suppliers
- Manage quality checks and inventory of bulk intermediate products from CMOs
- Ensure final products, including packaging, meet required quality standards
- Support regulatory submissions by providing accurate quality documentation
- Drive improvements in lab and production processes
- Assist with formulation trials, stability studies, and microbiological testing
- Report regularly on quality performance and project updates
