We are a niche legal and business affairs consultancy to the live events, festivals and venues industry. We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our fastâgrowing team as a Corporate Law Consultant, advising some of the leading names in the live entertainment sector on a range of corporate law matters.
We are a virtual/hybrid office (with a physical location at Tileyard North, Wakefield) so you will be able to work remotely and flexibly from wherever in the UK you choose whilst being connected to the rest of the team through our triâweekly team video calls, monthly inâperson meetâups, regular individual catchâups and quarterly social getâtogethers.
Requirements
We are looking for an outgoing, commerciallyâminded and experienced corporate solicitor, who has the ability to manage a varied workload across transactional and nonâtransactional matters and oversee more junior team members who will support transaction delivery. Our clients range from solopreneurs to privateâequityâfunded companies to large corporates and you will have experience of advising a similar breadth of clients. Our corporate practice focuses on advising clients in connection with consolidation and expansion within the live events industry and so we are looking for someone who has considerable experience of the following aspects of corporate law:
- M&A transactions
- Share purchase agreements
- Business purchase agreements
- Put and call option agreements
- Subscription and shareholders' agreements
- Convertible loan notes and debentures
- EIS investments
- Private equity and VC investment deals
- Share options
- Contractual joint ventures
