Known for our chilli sauces and community-led brand energy, we are building a category-defining business rooted in flavour, culture and consistency. As we expand our presence in grocery stores and online, we are looking for a creative Freelance Graphic Designer to help us tell our story visually and ensure our brand looks as vibrant and bold as it tastes.

The Role

As our Freelance Graphic Designer, you will be the visual storyteller for Azonto Foods. You'll work closely with the founding team to translate our brand mission into high-impact assets for social media, retail marketing, and digital platforms. This is a highly collaborative role where your creativity will directly shape how customers perceive our brand at every touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visual Assets: Design engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn that reflects our brand energy.
  • Retail & POS: Create eye-catching point-of-sale materials, including shelf-talkers, posters, and flyers for in-store activations.
  • Digital Design: Update and maintain website banners, email newsletters, and digital ads.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with our core brand guidelines while pushing the boundaries of West African-inspired modern aesthetics.
  • Packaging Support: Assist with minor packaging tweaks and label designs for new product launches.
  • Creative Input: Propose fresh visual ideas for campaigns, seasonal launches, and community events.

What We’re Looking For

  • Creative Flair: A strong portfolio demonstrating bold typography, vibrant colour palettes, and clean layouts.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Experience with Canva or Figma is a plus.
  • Cultural Connection: An interest in food, culture, and a knack for translating heritage into a modern, premium aesthetic.
  • Reliability: Able to manage your own deadlines and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for consistency, ensuring every asset is 'press-ready' or 'web-ready.'
  • Experience: Previous experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or food branding is a huge advantage.

Ideal For Someone Who

  • Enjoys working with a growing brand where their work has a visible impact.
  • Brings positive energy and a collaborative spirit to every project.
  • Can take a brief and run with it, bringing original ideas to the table.
  • Wants flexible, project-based work with a brand that celebrates community and quality.
