We are Azoma, a fast-growing SaaS company revolutionising the AI space through Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), helping brands maximise visibility and performance across AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. We are also focused on Retail led AI solutions, such as Amazon Rufus & Walmart Sparky. As AI reshapes how consumers discover products and services, we are at the forefront of this transformation. We are experiencing significant inbound demand and rapid growth, working with major brands from Mars Inc, Procter & Gamble, L'Oréal, Hewlett Packard, and other large FMCGs. Now, we are building a high-performing sales team to scale to the next level. We have just completed a $4 million raise, and have our sights set on the next funding round in the coming months.
We are looking for a Junior Account Executive to own the full sales cycle across our SMB and Mid-Market segment (businesses up to $100M in annual revenue). You will benefit from a strong inbound pipeline while also taking a hunter mentality - proactively identifying and closing challenger MM brands who are a great fit for Azoma. You are a self-starter with a hunger to grow your career in a fast-paced SaaS environment, blending consultative selling, product expertise, and performance-driven decision making to help brands unlock the power of AI search optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-cycle closing: Own deals end-to-end across SMB and Mid-Market accounts — from discovery and qualification through to negotiation and close
- Inbound conversion: Manage and qualify a high volume of inbound leads through consultative discovery, moving prospects efficiently through the funnel
- Outbound hunting: Proactively identify and engage challenger Mid-Market brands through strategic outbound efforts (cold calling, LinkedIn, and email), building a healthy self-sourced pipeline
- Product positioning: Articulate Azoma's value proposition and tailor solutions to client needs across diverse industries and use cases
- Stakeholder engagement: Lead compelling sales conversations and presentations with senior stakeholders and decision makers
- CRM hygiene: Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in HubSpot or Salesforce
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1–2 years of closing experience in a SaaS, MarTech, or digital marketing environment OR Enterprise level outreach experience (BDR/SDR)
- Demonstrated ability to manage and close your own pipeline, not just book meetings
- A hunter mentality — comfortable going outbound and generating your own opportunities alongside inbound
- Ideally experienced selling into e-commerce, MarTech, or retail verticals
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident leading conversations with senior stakeholders
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a high-growth startup environment
- Highly organised with strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Experience with CRM platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce (preferred)
Why Join Azoma?
- Be part of a pioneering company in an emerging, high-growth AI-focused category
- Hyper-growth business with ambitions to be the next unicorn
