This is a new role to capitalise on a huge opportunity we have in the UK to directly generate and develop opportunities for our tax teams to cross-sell and find new clients.
The Role
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and qualify leads among owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Use CRM tools and market research to target businesses with complex tax needs (e.g., R&D tax credits, VAT, corporate restructuring).
- Book meetings for Partners.
- Client Engagement
- Initiate contact with potential clients via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and events.
- Understand client pain points related to tax compliance, planning, or disputes.
- Consultative Selling
- Present tailored tax solutions (e.g., corporate tax planning, inheritance tax strategies, international tax structuring).
- Collaborate with tax specialists to prepare proposals and pricing models.
- Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM systems.
- Track progress against KPIs such as meetings booked, proposals sent, and conversions.
- Collaboration with Tax Teams
- Work closely with tax advisors, partners, and marketing to align messaging and service offerings.
- Provide feedback from prospects to refine service positioning.
Key Skills
- Previous business-to-business sales experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Target driven.
- Knowledge in Tax or Accountancy would be an advantage, but not essential.
