The purpose of the Sales Operations Executive role is to manage the client journey of sales opportunities for new and existing clients through the sales pipeline process within Salesforce (including digital marketing inbound monitoring). The role has responsibility for assisting the business to be up to date with pipeline management and ensuring the correct status of all sales processes and the quality of data on all Salesforce records. Whilst directly responsible for sales processes to closed won or lost status, the role will also have responsibility to support the client onboarding process as and when required. The role is to support the business in the overall achievement of the goals and targets associated with the Ambitious Growth pillar of the Azets UK Pathway. Working closely with peers alike including Business Development Directors, Partners and other growth-oriented colleagues in a wide range of activities designed to drive the Sales and Growth agenda.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring all LeadsGo sales leads are accurately and timely recorded, in line with the SLA, and where appropriate converted into the appropriate status on Salesforce.
- Providing a dynamic service to all ‘Person Leading The Sale’ ensuring they receive a copy of their sales pipeline on a monthly basis and where appropriate pipeline management calls are arranged and all actions from those meetings are updated in a timely and accurate manner.
- Keeping up to date with the pipeline update form process in line with the SLA, and maintaining a high standard of data accuracy.
- Working collaboratively and respectfully with teams from across the business to ensure the sales opportunity pipeline accurately reflects the correct status and value of all sales opportunities that feed through to sales pipeline reports.
- Working closely with the Regional Business Development Director to assist with the preparation of the regional growth plan.
- Closing sales whether Closed won or Lost to agreed standards to ensure the data quality of the integration between CCH and Salesforce is maintained.
- Provide assistance in the sales reporting process as and when required.
- Assisting the client onboarding team as and when required to ensure that the client onboarding process is managed in line with the SLA’s in place with the business.
- Carry out targeted research on prospects and clients.
- Manage pro-active touch points with prospects and introducers to help with organic business growth.
- Help ensure all inbounds are dealt with, updated and logged on Salesforce.
- Provide partners with additional research on inbounds where required.
- Work closely with marketing to ensure all our events reach their full potential.
- Ensure we are provided with lists from events and link any attendees/opportunities to relevant campaigns.
- Discuss follow up plans in BD meetings or offices.
- Any other duties that may be required to ensure the Sales Operations team fulfils its objectives under the Azets UK ambitious Growth pillar of the Pathway.
Skills & Experience:
- The ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with a wide range of stakeholders across the business.
- Good understanding of sales and the ability to make sales calls to clients and prospects.
- Good data management skills and an understanding of how to document the progress sales through the sale pipeline and onboarding process within LeadsGo, Salesforce and TOCA (along with any new platforms that form part of client journey).
- Attention to detail required to ensure that the data integrity and quality within Salesforce is maintained to the highest level.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, being a champion of excellence in client experience in dealing respectfully with the wide range of internal stakeholders within the business.
