Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments in line with UK auditing standards.
  • Be heavily involved in audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical procedures, often on-site at client premises.
  • Take responsibility for specific sections of the audit file, ensuring work is accurate, complete, and well documented.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements from client data and identify key risks or matters for Manager or Partner review.
  • Review work completed by junior team members and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with clients as part of the wider audit team.

What You’ll Bring

  • ACA / ACCA / CA qualified, or within 12 months of qualification.
  • Proven experience delivering audit assignments within a UK practice environment.
  • Comfortable owning audit sections from planning through to completion.
  • Experience reviewing junior team members’ work and supporting their development.
  • Confident communicating directly with clients and escalating risks appropriately.
  • Looking to progress your career towards an Audit Manager role within a structured development framework.
